For almost 30 years at the top management of three large companies, I have built solid organizations to support important activity growth or on the contrary to implement and monitor programs of cost reduction.
Each time, it was imperative to understand trade demand and anticipate its impact on the entire value chain. Only a good analysis of the commercial specificities of the company within its market allows to make the right decisions.
On the one hand, you have to be visionary by anticipating, and on the other hand you have to be opportunistic, realistic, and above all efficient.
In any case, you have to be pragmatic.
